The 2nd year of the Christmas cup saw 18 teams from across the south region compete across 3 groups.
Highworth fielded 2 teams with the "reds" just sneaking through their group after our other team "Town" held the much fancied Clevedon to a goalless draw, this result enabling us to claim the last 3rd place spot and move on to the quarter finals.
Alas that was as far as it went with old bisham rivals Watford beating us 2-0 and eventually progressing to the final.
The final was a tight affair but was won by a single goal, Weston the victors over Watford.
Special mention to Chippenham in their first ever tournament and they did themselves proud by finishing 2nd in their group and made it to the quarter finals.
